Reinvention of the Organic Producers Association of Mato Grosso do Sul in the face of the monocultural environment and the pandemic

Abstract

The research presents the role of the Association of Organic Producers of Mato Grosso do Sul - APOMS in the Grande Dourados region, in Mato Grosso do Sul, for the strengthening of organic agriculture in the face of the excessive use of pesticides by monoculture and the obstacles arising from the scenario of the new coronavirus pandemic. Bibliographic, observation and interview investigations were carried out. The association's work provides its members with a partnership that results in benefits for both producers and society who receive healthy and poison-free food in their homes.
