Abstract

The concept of resilience is defined in the literature as the capacity of a system to absorb, reorganize, adapt or transform its structures after disturbances or disturbances. Agroecology uses the idea from the socio-ecological resilience in agroecosystems, which considers social and ecological aspects in the face of climate change and other stresses. This work aims to present, through a review of the specialized literature, the possible connections between agroecological practices and resilience principles. It is concluded that there are similarities between the field of agroecology and the theory of resilience.
