Socio-environmental diagnosis performed at the Association of Rural Producers of Cachoeirinha - ASPECA, Ibirataia-Ba

Abstract

The present work provided an updated database on the Socio-environmental reality of the Association of Rural Producers of Cachoeirinha, which are located in the rural zone of the municipal district of Ibirataia, Barra do Rocha, Ubatã, Nova Ibiá and Ipiaú, with its headquarters in Ibirataia-BA. The moment unfolded by evaluation and a deepening through direct contact with the associates. The methodology used was the Participatory Rural Diagnosis. After applying the SWOT Tool and reporting all the Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses, and Threats, it was observed that some farmers reuse greywater in agriculture and others let it drain into the open. The socio-environmental progress will make ASPECA a more responsible entity with greater visibility and transparency among members.
