Abstract

This report addresses an experience with the ecological literacy of members of the TEA Collective
of Fatec-CB, using a permaculture as a tool. The faculty is in a region of the State of
São Paulo with the largest remaining area of the Atlantic Forest and many rural families. The
collective was born with a project that aims to build a space in the Campus to disseminate the
knowledge of agroecology and permaculture. Among the results obtained, we highlight the
implantation in the Campus of an area in which permaculture practices are developed by the
students of the faculty and with children of the local schools. Other Collective activities are
workdays in rural properties of the region and exchange of experiences with a group of another
institution. stands out the important role of Ecological Literacy for a cohesive and continuous
group formation that allows the broader learning of Agroecology.
