Abstract

The inclusion of Agroecology in the curriculum of EMEB Leonor Mendes de Barros in 2022 is debated. This was developed on the assumptions of a monist materialism that considers the ideal as a complementary dimension to objectivity, overcoming the Cartesian duality. The children's literacy process was aided by a playful and thematic pedagogical project that had rurality as a principle for reading the concrete world.
