Abstract

Here we discuss the possibilities of simultaneously working the content of agro-ecology in
different spaces in the university, in person and in virtual form. Since the creation of the Agroecology
Studies Center (NEA) of the University of Passo Fundo (UPF) in 2014, courses on
in-person and virtual extension in agroecology have been proposed, in addition to the offer
of three electives: agroecology, medicinal plants and advanced landscaping. In the first two
academic months of 2017, it was possible to work at the same time, besides the lectures, the
EaD courses and the attendance training concomitant with the elective discipline of agroecology,
totaling 61 participants, in addition to the teachers. There was an increasing synergism of
interests over the period, with the didactic objectives achieved. When practicing the indissociability
teaching-research-extension the importance of free courses to the community in a space
concomitant with the disciplines is verified.
