Building knowledge in the quilombola community Cajá dos Negros

The primary matrix of the green revolution advances in the spaces of traditional family agriculture,
promoting dependence on external inputs, with agrochemicals and chemical fertilizers,
promoting the implementation of superadded systems of forage palm planting. The objective
of this work was to construct participatory knowledge based on the perception of agroecosystems
in the Cajá dos Negros quilombo, aiming at the complexation of the (re) designs of forage
palm production systems in the principles of Agroecology, which valued the issue of public
health, productive safety , Crop diversification, perceptions of natural resources and popular
knowledge. The experience was developed in the second half of 2015, with the quilombola
settlers of land credit. The (re) design of agroecosystems will promote improvement of productive
performance and family income, besides the diversification of the rural landscape.
