Mulheres da Queimadas, Nova Redenção, Bahia: synonym of feminine strength

Abstract

Little is discussed about the importance of women in communities, when observing such a scenario, it is possible to conceive that they are the main figures in the organizational part of the space in which they live. As Queimadas is a community that is not so large in number, but with extremely captivating possibilities for study, as well as its population, from this it was possible to have a broader view of the whole process, not to mention the women, who were very interested in the plan. of study and the way it is organized, in short, a Clock, a notebook and a map of the agroecosystem of its properties were made, both were produced at different times, but which, in all, completed each other. The clock was produced for the presentation, about the routine of women and their husbands, so that we know their wake-up time, lunch, rest, dinner and bedtime. The agroecology booklet was made to let us know what they consume, the quantity, the value of each product and the sale of existing items on their land. Therefore, there were exactly two works, conceived in a single study plan, and the other, with the clock separated, that finally together, it was possible to have a notion, of the reason for such a theme, the women of my community.
