Abstract

The work was developed with the aim of knowing and valuing female work and showing the visibility of women in agroecology through the agroecological booklet. It is in fact that the notebooks have helped the women to have an idea of how important their work is, and how much they earn and could increase their earnings. The booklet helps women recognize their effort and productive work, and of course, keep track of their production and income. Thus, creating their autonomy, increasing their self-esteem, encouraging them to dedicate themselves to the agroecosystem, and empowering them. This work was developed from March to April 2023 in the district of Várzea do Cerco, Mulungu do Morro/BA. The issue of the invisibility of peasant women's work is challenging and very expensive, therefore, how can we think of strategies that alleviate the challenges faced by rural women? There is a lack of progress in technical assistance and rural extension in Brazil, but one that is based on agroecology and that can actually reach women farmers.
