Relation of the experience: Regional meeting of agroecology of the Southeast (ERGA-SE) in Alegre-ES

Abstract

This work aims to report the exchange of knowledge and experimentation experienced at the
Regional Meeting of Agroecology of the Southeast (ERGA-SE). The meeting utilized agroecological
methodologies, emphasizing a participative experience that promoted the horizontalization
of traditional and academic knowledge. The meeting allowed several agroecology
groups to see the environmental reality of farmers in the region of Caparaó - ES, strengthening
the project Water Planters, which brought a better social organization of farmers to solve their
problems, from agroecological alternatives that contemplated, Mainly the problematic water
issues of the region.
