Agronomy Internship at IFPA - Castanhal Campus as a learning space on the dynamics of family farming in the Nordeste of Paraense

Abstract

The present work was carried out in order to report the experience lived in the month of March
2017 on a property located in the municipality of Irituia-PA, through the discipline of course of
life of the IFPA, Campus Castanhal. The methodological tools employed were proposed by the
reference term (TDR), based on the guiding axis of biophysical and man. Most of the income of
the observed family is related to the sale of cassava derivatives. The practice of work adopted
by the family is cutting and burning agriculture. In this context, it is understood that the loss
of vigor and productivity of the lands used, alternatives and improvements in the production
system are needed, as this is in crisis
