Abstract

Healthy eating in the school environment means the integration of activities that are extremely
important, as a stimulus to the improvement of healthy eating habits, which can be developed
through educational activities. In order to do so, the ecological vegetable garden was implanted
with the students in the school with the aim of providing a basis for a greater awareness of
the importance of healthy food, bringing the discourse on various topics such as ecology, agroecology,
working with Land and agriculture. Where through direct contact with the land they
were able to learn and reflect on the process of food production, since most of the students
did not have practical experience with vegetable gardens, despite being children of farmers.
The results were positive, the ecological site met expectations in general, as well as being a
channel of interaction between the child and the environment.
