Abstract

Creole cultivars are important for the sustainability of small farmers, but the lack of information
and diseases caused by fungi can compromise production. Thus, this work aimed to evaluate
different species of creole seeds, in terms of technologies involving seed analysis. The germination
test was conducted to evaluate the vigor of the seeds and also conducted the phytosanitary
test to determine which fungi attack the crops. The results showed a high percentage of
germination, indicating that the seeds were of quality and feasible; Already the phytosanitary
test presented a great variety of pathogens, highlighting the presence of Fusarium sp. and
Penicillium sp.
