The conservation of nature in technical training in agroecology promoted by the Landless Rural Workers Movement

Abstract

The agroecological practice is linked to alternative forms of sustainable use of natural assets
and practices adapted to the territories. The technical training in Agroecology by the courses
promoted by the Movement of the Landless Rural Workers (MST), considered fundamental for
this claim of the man-nature relation with the purpose of instructing with applied techniques for
the agricultural production in the settled territories agrarian reform settlements, and As opposed
to the conventional model of agriculture strongly inserted in Brazil since the sixties. The
general objective of this work is to identify the themes that explicitly manifest the conservation
of nature in the teaching plan of technician executed in one of the MST schools in the State
of São Paulo. Knowledge and practice are reciprocally reciprocal in technical action with the
conservation of nature.
