Abstract

The present paper has as on objective to share a social experience, idealized for a workshop
held at the event of biology course from UFRJ, called Bio na Rua. The event aims to promote
interactive presentations and workshops related to the biology study area, in a way to expand
the reach of academic knowledge for the society. In the 2016 edition, the Project Capim Limão
participated organizing a sensorial trail, in order to awake the senses other than the sight, experiencing
different environments, touches, sounds, and smells. The feelings were evidenced
in small reports of the participants after the experience. Given this, it was possible to understand
how was the activity for the participants and which reflections were taken with them from
the disconnection with the external, and focus on the senses. Once that Agroecology is based
on a harmonious relationship of humans with nature, this activity is fundamental in sensitizing
people to such issues.
