Perception of the students of the course of agronomy on the subject agrotoxic

The objective of this study was to evaluate the perception of the knowledge about agrotoxic
of students of the UNILAB course of agronomy, enrolled in the discipline of Special Topics in
Agronomy II. A questionnaire was carried out with 10 questions on the subject of pesticides.
27 students spontaneously answered the questions, of which 22 were considered for this work.
Data were collected in January 2017, then tabulated for further qualitative data analysis. The
students’ interest in deepening the study of the subject of pesticides was verified and, although
they study agronomy, the previous knowledge is still quite superficial. The work allowed the
identification of topics that should be deepened in the disciplines. The questionnaire guided
the construction of the discipline that was enriched with videos and articles for pleading and
a proposal of a case study on the use of pesticides in concrete situations near the university.
