Abstract

The so-called “green revolution” brought with it, in the 70s and 80s, many losses in relation
to popular knowledge, through the transition from rural to urban (exodus). In this sense, there
has been a habitual desconfiguration in the construction practices ever since, more and more
accentuated, as the population swelling increased in this new scenario, it being incumbent on
agroecology to make it possible to resurface these knowledge, for example, from the bioconstruction
adapted to this new context. This agroecological technique (also very much raised
by the permaculture flag), whose principle of exploitation / reuse of the raw material follows
another unconventional bias, and is therefore favorably versatile, economical and sustainable.
Bamboo was the material used in the technical experience of this work and its results proved
to be compatible both to the rescue of these bioconstructing knowledge, as well as the optimization
of the space and structure support.
