In the region of the Sierras Chicas in the province of Cordoba, forms of organization are being
consolidated that respond to the specific needs of the people involved. It refers to experiences
of collective work in the fields: ecological, cultural, communicational, social, political and
economic. The greatest problem faced by the inhabitants of the communes of the region is
the environmental crisis, caused by anthropogenic actions such as clearing and urbanization
that affected natural watercourses. As of February 2015, in the Granja due to the floods and
floods that occurred, a space of social economy disappeared. The work focused on meeting
objectives related to socio-territorial development by collectively addressing the strengthening
of inter-institutional coordination through the recovery of agro-ecological knowledge and the
active dissemination of proposals for citizenship that protect their rights.
