Abstract

The experience report describes the actions developed, as results of the return of the research
in two indigenous communities, Darora and Vista Alegre of the São Marcos Indigenous Land
in Roraima. Methods of qualitative research were used as a legitimate and efficient tool for the
acquisition of information. Return activities were previously established with the residents and
recorded in the Term of Prior Consent, such as the preparation of the textbook, preparation of
school projects, delivery of the final research reports (Theses) and presentation of the catalog
of useful species indicated in the interviews . It is worth mentioning that we count on the support
of the EMBRAPA Roraima researchers who taught courses on the cultivation and post
harvesting of cassava for the Indians.
