In the perspective of socializing experiences from extensionist actions, the present work articulates
intervention actions of an agroecological approach that contemplate sustainable practices
aimed at attending students of the Tapuya Kariri Indigenous Rural School, located in the Municipality
of São Benedito, Ceará. The objective is to strengthen the identity processes of traditional
culture, starting with the adoption of agroecological practices in productive and social contexts,
as a vehicle for the conservation of native species and the soil of the region, as well as encouraging
the use of locally available resources in the community. The methodological itinerary of
the project was based on four strategic actions that allowed the implementation of practices for
the management of mineshafts for the production of humus and green manure with an incentive
to use endogenous resources, practices that value and rescue the local culture.
