Abstract

The agroforestry systems (SAF) associated with the beekeeping activity provide a complement
to the family income, allows the sustainability, conservation and integration of biodiversity, also
promoting the recovery of degraded areas. The objective of this work was to know the apicultural
potential of species cultivated in SAF in the Zona da Mata Rondoniense. Three SAF were
selected with cupuassu cultivation (Theobroma grandiflorum), with an area of approximately
one hectare each, defining the interaction Among trees and bees, especially the cupuaçuzeiro,
rubber tree and species of the family Anacardiaceae that showed predominance in the study.
The species with apicultural potential found can be used to recover degraded areas, also emphasizing
the need to add economic and ecological value to SAF, associating them with beekeeping
and the pollination services provided by the bees, which are unknown to the region
