Abstract

The political, social and economic situation of the country is unstable for all sectors of society,
not least for indigenous people. With indignation are recorded acts of violence, disrespect to
indigenous peoples and diverse cultures. It is a hard reality, without favorable changes, and a
constant struggle in defense of territories, rights to health, education, Well Living. Parallel to
this reality, we CIMI indigenistas try to keep us together with the indigenous peoples by strengthening
resistance and claiming SOVEREIGNTY OF PEOPLE, always. Favoring the mutual
exchange of relations between nations that involve culture, seeds, practices, prayers, remedies,
challenges and alliances. We promoted the 4th Workshop on the exchange of seeds and
knowledge, in continuity with the exchange of agro-ecological knowledge, in order to strengthen
the discussion on Food Sovereignty and to support the permanent campaign “seeds of
humanity”, of the Via Campesina, Seeds: Humanity Heritage”, of the way peasant, between the
towns Myky and Negarote.
