Abstract

The present report of technical experience refers to the work carried out in a quilombola
community assisted by the Dom Távora Project, in the Baixo São Francisco Territory, State of
Sergipe. For this, it is characterized Project and the assisted territory, as well as the Municipality
and the studied community. Through several technical visits, the main results were obtained,
including the identification of community interest in working the production process of
aquaculture, as well as its structural problems and its perceptions about environmental issues.
