Abstract

The objective of this work is to show the analysis and the costs of implantation and production
of a collective nursery of seedlings in the community of Livramento in Garrafão do Norte, Pará.
The period adopted for carrying out the cost calculations is comprised between June 2015 to
February 2016 following the methodology proposed by the National Supply Company (Conab),
providing only the explicit costs, which refer to the disbursement actually made, such as labor,
inputs and seeds. The organization of the group and the habit of jotting down what was bought
greatly facilitated the development of the work, many of them are part of an existing association
within the community and brought with them these practices of control and organization for the
collective. There was no cost differentiation between açaí, cupuaçu and pupunha seedlings,
since the treatments were the same for all species.
