Participatory rural diagnosis to survey the conditions of acesso to land and the economic reality of the camped located in the municipality of Uruçuca-BA

Abstract

The present work provided an updated database focused on the reality of the camps, which
is located in the rural area of the municipal district of Uruçuca. The objective was to develop
in a participatory way the survey of the conditions of access to land and the economic, social
and environmental reality of the camps located around the Uruçuca district. The methodology
used was Participatory Rural Diagnosis. Almost all families produce some type of crop in their
lot, whether for subsistence or even small-scale commercialization. The camped justified that
despite all the difficulties faced in the areas, they still frequented their lots by the placidity of
the environment, by the company of other encamped, emphasizing the union of all forming a
great family.
