Agroecology Journeys of Baixo Munim as a pedagogical tool for exchange and validation of knowledge among farmers and students of Study Center of Agroecology

Abstract

The Agroecology Journeys of Baixo Munim are configured as moments of completion of stages,
return of research results, exchange and validation of knowledge, strengthening of ties
and approximation of the academic community to society. Since its creation in 2014, the Study
Center of Agroecology has carried out two days at the end of each project completion. The
Journeys has been characterized by stimulating the playful through mystics, pedagogical facilities,
photographic exhibitions, creole seeds fair and tasting of agroecological snacks. Through
this, seeks to promote feelings of celebration, hope and strengthening of convictions among
teachers, students, farmers and field technicians. As well as re-signifying knowledge produced
between scientific community and rural communities.
