Performace of bush snap beans cultivars under organic cultivation in Anápolis - GO
Keywords:
Phaseolus vulgaris L., yield, organic cultivationAbstract
The purpose of this work was to evaluate the performance of ten bush snap beans cultivars
under organic cultivation, in two years (2012, 2013), in Anápolis, state of Goias, Brazil, aiming
the availability of the Material adapted to this cultivation form. The experimental delimitation
used, for both experiments, was randomized blocks, with four repetitions, and the treatments
recorded ten bush snap beans cultivars (Turmalina, Commodore Improved, Contender, Espada
Bush, Festina, Jade, Purple Queen,Tenderette, Tendergreen, Tendergreen Improved).
The cultivars Festina, Tendergreen Improved and Commodore Improved stood out in the first
experiment and also in the joint averages of both years. On the second experiment, there were
not a meaningful difference in productivity and total number of pods per plant, which varied
respectively (7,01 a 9,59 t.ha-1) and (9,25 a 15,13). Therefore, there are cultivars in the market
with potential to be used in the system of organic cultivation, with a satisfactory production.
