Abstract

Permaculture seeks to reproduce in agroecosystems the patterns and relationships found in
natural ecosystems, their diversity, forms of organization and levels of productivity. This study
aims to analyze the use of Permaculture design as a methodological tool for planning the
experimental area of the Permaculture Studies and Practices Group (GEPPe) of the Federal
University of Ceará (UFC). From the survey of the main constituent elements of the space, its
characteristics and interactions, represented graphically on map, it was possible to analyze
the main Permaculture design contributions for the implementation of productive landscapes.
