Abstract

This article aimed to validate and encourage practices that reconcile better agricultural production
with an ecosystem maintenance, evaluating an influence of tree species of the cerrado
in a consortium with pastures on soil chemical attributes. The experiment was based on the
difference between the soil collected in the canopy projection and the soil collected for the
influence of six native tree species of the cerrado, in the sample scheme 6x2, totaling 96 sampling
points. . The pH of the soil surface layer (0 to 5 cm) was increased in samples associated
with Pau Terra Grande and reduced by the Jacarandá do Cerrado. In the 5 to 15 cm layer,
however, there was a small reduction in soil pH under a tree crown projection in relation to the
soil collected in the vicinity. In general, the elevation of organic P and C contents is not a 0-5
cm layer, and is a 0-5 cm layer in some species.
