Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the biomass and carbon stock and the environmental
services in Voisin Silvipastoril system with Tree Nuclei (PRVnuclei) in two family farms in the
city of Santa Rosa de Lima - SC. In 2012, 40 nucleis per hectare were implanted with an area
of 25 m² each and isolated with electrified fence. 236,952 kg / ha of biomass and 53,971 carbon
kg / ha were estimated, in addition to environmental services: provision; regulation; scenic
and sustaining. It’s demostreted that Silvopastoral System with Tree Nuclei can be a important
carbon sink while increasing the provision of other ecosystem services.
