Abstract

The experience with the first group of Degree in Field Education in the area of ​​Languages ​​and Codes provided a significant change during the activities of introduction to the literary text. The objectives of this report are (01) to divulge and promote a teaching where the literary text is at the center of the activities involving the language and the reading process and (02) evidence the Field Education itself in dealing with the symbolism that literary art does to achieve, in the form of human emancipation, the peasant students as a human right. For that, we use the contribution of the presuppositions of Literary Theory, in the form of analysis of the literary text. What gave the group space conducive to critical reflection and introductory access to the cultural arsenal produced by humanity.
