Abstract

Although the decrease in environmental liabilities after approval of the law nº 12.651/12, there is still a demand for seedlings and seed production of native species for restoration in permanent preservation areas (PPA) and legal reserves (LR) Thus, this report is about the experience in the implantation of a network of native seeds of Cerrado in Campo Grande-MS and region, for the collection of the main input of this chain, the seeds, for later sowing in the Environmental Protection Area of ​​Guariroba. Up to now, about 54% of the total number of sowed seeds has been collected and there has been a significant return in the communities 'involvement with the valorization of the biodiversity present in the collectors' properties.
