The objective of this work was to evaluate the bioinsecticidal effects of Annona squamosa L. and Annona muricata hydroalcoholic extracts on aphids of the Aphididae family in mustard crop. The treatments used were: T1: control (distilled water); T2: sweetsop leaves (Annona squamosa); T3: sweetsop branches; T4: leaves and branches of sweetsop; T5: leaves of soursop (Annona muricata); T6: soursop branches; T7: leaves and twigs of soursop, with ten replicates. Five immature nymphs of aphids were deposited on mustard leaf disks of 3 cm in diameter, individualized in 9 cm diameter Petri dishes containing a cotton layer moistened with distilled water. With the aid of a hand spray, the insects received 2 mL-1 of the treatments per petri dish. The plates were closed with clear plastic film and stored in B.O.D at 26.0 ± 1.0 ° C and RH of 70 ± 10%. After 24 hours the number of dead nymphs were counted on the leaf disc and off the disk. Annona squamosa L. and Annona muricatahydroalcoholic extracts have insecticidal activity on aphids of the Aphididae family in mustard culture. The origin of the plant structures for preparation of the extracts did not interfere with the mortality of the pest.
