Management biomass for the production of organic food without using fire

In 2016 the Training School for Young Farmers of Amazonian Rural Communities - ECRAMA
through the project Men and Women, protagonists of education and sustainable local development
offered to the young graduates of ECRAMA the course of Agroecology and Citizenship.
Its main objective was to plant beans without the use of fire with the introduction of green
manure and biofertilizers as viable alternatives for family farmers, thus enhancing the maintenance
of biodiversity, forest, water courses, without the use of products And the need to use
external resources such as chemical fertilizers, agrochemicals and mechanization. After bean
harvest the following yields were obtained: black beans in a total area of 90 m2 produced 4 kg,
the bean butter in a total area of 90 m2 produced 8 kg and the bean bidet in a total area of 70
m2 produced 7kg.
