Abstract

When it comes to teaching practice, pedagogical proposals play an important role in the peasant school context, since they can provide alternative ways of knowing how to do in a perspective allied to scientific knowledge, especially the principles of agroecology and teaching of the natural sciences. In this sense, the present work has as objective to present a didactic material used to teach physics contents, as well as, an instrument to facilitate the cultivation of plants in external and internal environments since they receive light and heat from the sun. The didactic material consists of a prototype designed to support concepts of thermodynamics and hydrodynamics in an agroecological perspective. The prototype called “Drip Solar Irrigation Model” was developed with pet bottle and other easily purchased domiciliary materials to assist in the maintenance of humid soil in the irrigation of plants economically, as well as contribute to the environment, since this model reuses recyclable materials, low cost and lower water consumption thus showing the effectiveness of plant management in gardens, gardens and small spaces of cultivation. The model presented here is controlled by the capture of light and thermal energy, which can be characterized as a sustainable prototype. However, it is necessary the intervention of pedagogical practices in the rural schools that allow to create new perspectives for the maintenance and permanence of the peasant life. Thus, this pedagogical model intends to be an initial proposal of reflection for methods with didactic practices for schools, valuing the characteristics of the peasant community.
