Abstract

The work proposal seeks to direct research and reports of experiences based on the socio-environmental context, making it necessary to produce small farms with sources of income aimed at the production of healthy foods in a sustainable way. In this way, the school garden becomes an element capable of developing themes involving environmental education and food, as well as connecting theoretical and practical concepts, will help the teaching and learning process, producing strategies able to help in the development of the contents in an interdisciplinary way, presenting perspectives of results to be achieved through the participation of the students during the accomplishment of the activities, whose objective is to form a student who values the principles of the field. In this way we can see great advances that are being reached within a methodological conception by the students, since many already present a new look on the proposal of Field Education. The challenges are great, as the region is increasingly focused on the agro-industrial sector and agribusiness production.
