Community vegetable gardens produce food through community volunteer work, and can socially include people who are discriminated against or unemployed. In addition, including schools and universities to improve learning is of paramount importance, as the disinterestedness of some students to study is alarming and causes great concern to teachers. The objective of the study was to promote didactic-pedagogical activities integrating the curriculum for the students of the integrated secondary, subsequent and superior courses of IFPA - Conceição do Araguaia-Pará, using the Community Vegetable Garden as a pedagogical tool. The experiment was carried out from August 2018 to May 2019. The area intended for implantation is located in the premises of Nossa Senhora de Fátima Church in Conceição do Araguaia. Initially there was the transformation of the space, the planned and partnerships, having as participants eight members of the local community and fifty students of the fields of Fertility of the Soil and of the IFPA. The practical classes were weekly; besides the practical activities of planting, were also performed: cleaning of the area, composting, soil collection and interpretation of the analysis, green manuring, application of virgin lime, liming, nursery construction, seedling formation, construction of flowerbeds and a well , seedling formation, organic fertilization, pest control and workshop. The results showed a difficult community interaction with students. However, throughout the Project's development, 20 species of vegetables have already been planted. It concludes that, despite the lack of interaction between the students and the community with the project, they individually participated actively in the garden, transforming the place and achieving a satisfactory production, selling even the products to buy inputs to the vegetable garden
