USE OF CORRESPONDENCE ANALYSIS IN STUDY ON CONSUMERS PROFILE OF ORGANIC PRODUCTS ON MUNICIPALITY OF BOM JESUS DA LAPA, BA

The consumption of organic products is one of the main food trends in the world. In Brazil, the consumption of this segment of products has increased significantly each year and thus to know the profile of these consumers, their habits and the relevant aspects in the purchase decision is the purpose of this study. The research was carried out in the free fairs and supermarkets of the municipality of Bom Jesus da Lapa, Ba. It is an exploratory and descriptive research, carried out with 50 consumers selected randomly using non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. The results showed that the consumer profile is female. Has a habit of consuming organic products in conjunction with conventional products and appreciates in its purchase decision, aspects related to health and quality of life, besides having a degree of awareness of their social responsibilities
