Abstract

The objective of this work is to understand agroecological practices and well-being, through the identification and use of water social technologies in Tabuleiro do Norte / Ce. Therefore, we outline the following methodological paths: I) bibliographic survey; II) documentary analysis; III) fieldwork. Coexistence with the semi-arid region was the focus of numerous debates and projects in different historical periods in the Northeast. The agro-ecological activities dialogue with the actions of coexistence, related to the good life as life practice and sustainability model. The earliest spatial recognitions reveal the importance of technological autonomy and agroecology for peasant reproduction of rural people in the municipality. In this scenario, water social technologies follow dialectically the agroecological practices, making it essential to identify these activities in the field.
