Food and sanitation management system in the Semi-arid Sergipano

The present experiment and result of the experience that occurred in the region of Sergipe
High Sertão, in the village of. Located in the municipality of Nossa Senhora da Gloria, in a rural
establishment of milk production that adopts agrosilvopastoral system. The data collection
took place through dialogues, semi-structured interviews and observations of students and
professors of the higher course of Technology in Agroecology. Procedures were considered
as strategies for conviviality with the natural conditions present in the region. It was possible
to characterize the general management, the milking and sanitary management applied in the
dairy herd. The technical visits made it possible to visualize the response of an efficient management
with respect to the environment and showed that the agroecological practices are
feasible and allow to generate changes that reflect in a balanced agroecossystem, despite the
natural characteristics found in the semi-arid Sergipe.
