Abstract

The Agrobiodiversity Management Project - Semi-Arid Seeds started in 2015 in a context of intensification of the risk for the creole seeds in this territory, due the dry that was going on. It’s conceived and realized by ASA, structured in reference their existing programs, P1+2 and P1MC, sharing their organization in components and activities, structured from the farmers and civil society experiences systematization. During this 4 years accumulated an amount of data, as the identification of a big bulk of possible seeds varieties, managed and keeped by seeds guardians, influencing directly in the communities seeds houses and banks states dynamics, as in the states laws, plans and programs of seeds, agroecology and conviviality with the semi - arid. Beyond the direct results, the program shows some challenges that directed news works with semi-arid creole seeds, as the contamination threat of this seeds by transgenic cultivars, as researches that has as interface between ex situand on farmseeds conservation.
