Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze species richness marketed and discuss ways to combat the vulnerability of agroextractivists, a process that goes from non - timber plant extractivism to neo - extractivism, emphasizing the productive chain of native fruits, as a way to show the existence of traditional communities that survive basically of biodiversity products. Indicating the deficiency in the value of the products marketed. The research was carried out in the municipality of Piaçabuçu in the communities of the Retreat, Sitio Esperança and Fazenda Paraíso Settlement, in the region of Foz do Rio São Francisco, using quali-quantitative methods. The main results show the richness of marketed species (both cultivated and non-cultivated), the lack of municipal public policies, and the necessity of the structuring of points of sale in the local tourism market.
