Abstract

Currently the demand for food free of pesticides is increasing and the consumer is more demanding
in relation to a quality of food, which is still more like agro-ecological fairs. Thus, the
objective of this work is to outline the profile of consumers and evaluate the quality of new
agro-ecological fairs in malls in the region of Greater Vitória-ES. To perform this work, previously
established questionnaires were elaborated. The results showed that the main public are
women, the predominant race is white, the prevailing level of education is higher education. In
general the fairs are getting good acceptance from consumers, being mostly frequented weekly
by people looking for healthy products.
