Abstract

The paper presents research results developed at the Federal University of Pará, built in conjunction with a public school field located in the community of Vila do Carmo-Cametá / PA. Our objective was to analyze the education of the field and the importance of agroecology in the teaching of nature science in the modality of Youth and Adult Education in the interdisciplinary perspective. The methodological procedures were based on the critical and participatory approach that integrated teaching, research and extension. As a research technique, we used semi-structured interviews, besides the development of actions of political, pedagogical, cultural and social interventions. The results revealed that the interface education and agroecology in the Nature of Science Teaching in Adult Education of Young brought educational experiences for all involved, for providing the dialogue of scientific knowledge with popular knowledge in interdisciplinary perspective.
