Cultivation and comercialization of non conventional herbs and spices for the development of regional family agriculture in Minas Gerais

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to inform and stimulate the consumption of foods that form the basis
of our diet and it has been neglected over the years , especially PANC (Unconventional Vegetables
/ Plantas Alimentícias Não Convencionais) . It is a great interest encouraging family farming
through growing and marketing of such foods, thereby contributing to the socio-cultural revival in
Minas Gerais, providing regional development , social inclusion and income distribution.
