Abstract

The purpose of this article is to inform and stimulate the consumption of foods that form the basis
of our diet and it has been neglected over the years , especially PANC (Unconventional Vegetables
/ Plantas Alimentícias Não Convencionais) . It is a great interest encouraging family farming
through growing and marketing of such foods, thereby contributing to the socio-cultural revival in
Minas Gerais, providing regional development , social inclusion and income distribution.
