Abstract

This article presents initial data of the research project, in progress, that will be realized at
Empreendimento Mundo Vivo, a restaurant, ovolactovegetariano, located in Jardim das Esculturas,
São João dos Mellos district, in the municipality of Júlio de Castilhos / RS. The objective
of the research will be to outline the entrepreneurial profile, observing, among other issues, the
potential sustainability of products, promoting health in rural areas. The methodology comprises
research in the form of a case study. The research has the descriptive exploratory model,
data collection and a script for interviews. Resulting from the profile, the ovolactovegetarian
space, appears as the food style of the owners tied to the possibility of extra income through
differentiated services to the visitors. In addition, the challenges have led to the personal evolution
of owners and employees, and for this reason, the growing demand for visitation is thriving.
