Abstract

The nurseries of the Agricultural Family Schools (EFA´s) are extremely important for the propagation, use and conservation of Agrobiodiversity in the Semiarid Region, having several functions in these educational establishments, among them is the functionality as live field laboratories for the development of daily practical activities in the context of the internship and of the disciplines which, through interdisciplinarity, work their contents in a contextualized way. This work aims to present the diagnosis of agrobiodiversity conserved in the nurseries of five Agricultural Family Schools linked to the Network of Integrated Agricultural Family Schools in the Semiarid Region (REFAISA). The research had as methodological procedure the use of tools from participatory methodologies, including visits to these educational institutions, cross-walks, participatory diagnoses, brainstorming, among others. It was found that the five analyzed nurseries currently conserve 7,589 seedlings of 26 different species, which together have an aggregate economic value of R $ 14,294.00.
