Abstract

This paper analyzes the experience of the Pies en La Tierra association in building climate-resilient communities through agroecology in the Sierra de Aracena, Spain. We present an introduction to the agents involved and the theories that foster the debates and actions developed by the group. Also, we use as a methodology a proposal for integration between Resilient Thinking and Experience Translation. Thus, we verified that, through acting in networks, the association carries out actions and strategies that promote sustainability and resilience in the territory. Finally, we point to the importance of local networks in face of global problems.
