Abstract

Seeking to re-signify content selection strategies and methodological approaches in teacher training, as well as in teaching activities at school and in the training processes of the Pedagogy of Alternation, we have carried out some reflections around agroecology and how we can materialize its foundations and principles in pedagogical practices and in the different experiences of teaching and learning in the context of Rural Education, specifically in the areas of Agroecology and Science Teaching. With this work we seek to systematize formative experiences involving didactic-experimental experiences around Education in Agroecology in the context of the Licentiate Course in Rural Education at the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia. We organize a summary of each practice/experiment, including objective and experimental design, and share some of the main results that maintain a dialogue with the principles of Education in Agroecology disseminated by the Associação Brasileira de Agroecologia (ABA), in order to embody political-pedagogical contributions to the course curriculum and for an educational research and policy agenda.
