Curso livre em Agroecologia na primeira horta do campus Fiocruz Manguinhos: relato de experiência.

Abstract

The Terrapia Agroecology and Living Food in Health Promotion is a project allocated at ENSP/Fiocruz/RJ under permanent construction, maintained and guided by the solidary participation of volunteers. Started in 1997, it is the first report of a project within the campus involving the construction and maintenance of a vegetable garden guided by agroecological principles. Over the years, the project has become a benchmark for Living Food and, as of 2015, it began to introduce more emphasis on the principles of Education in Agroecology in its food activities. During this period, the Agroecology Course began, which has as its main base the management of agroecosystems from an agroecological perspective. From this practice, carried out in the project's garden, the aim is to socialize and relate the socio-political dimensions of Agroecology with the reality of the participants, mostly people involved with networks that work in a territorialized way with Agroecology in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
